10 volumes were developed from the 10 classification fields within the dewey decimal system. Contour cuts were taken at regular intervals within the x,y and z axis, taking into consideration the 10 'floating' volumes and the decision to introduce a 'void' space into the program. These were extruded to develop the overall building form.
