The idea of the public square as the archetypal public space is an uncomfortable notion in Melbourne, Australia.
The available geographic expanse of this metropolitan centre has radically altered population density, traditionally associated with the sqaure,
allowing for a multitude of varying public space(s). The corner,
or intersection is often the meeting place of choice within the new city.

The proposal seeks to record a series of urban obstructions scheduled to occur on the site. Participants will be invited to engage the site and de-stabilise day to day (generic) happenings.
